Vadim Abanin is a second year McCourt School of Public Policy candidate at Georgetown University. He is interested in innovation and technology policy, international development, and economics. In Spring 2018, Vadim interned at the World Bank Group, working on the Starting a Business indicator for the Doing Business 2019 report. Vadim received his Bachelor of Arts in Global Affairs with a minor in Business from George Mason University. Prior to joining Georgetown University, Vadim completed Global Village for Future Leaders of Business and Industry Program, sponsored by Iacocca Institute at Lehigh University. Vadim is an avid musician and a volleyball player. Originally from Tajikistan, he speaks Russian and Tajik.
