There are various ways for students to get involved with the Baker Center. Through programming like the Baker Innovation Grant, our experiential learning opportunities, and our skills-building clinics, students are able to share in our mission and join our growing Baker Center student community.
Baker Innovation Grant — Application now open!
Why wait until you graduate to tackle an issue? With the Baker Innovation Grant, you can start now. We are excited to launch the application process for the next cohort of Baker Innovators. We encourage all McCourt students enrolled in any degree program during the January 2018-January 2019 timeframe to apply. This is an opportunity to get outside the classroom and, using one’s skills and experiences, make a difference. Along the way, Innovators will deepen content-specific knowledge, develop new technical and analytical capabilities, sharpen their project management and budgeting skills, and become stronger communicators and influencers.
Applications are due by 10 p.m. on Sunday, November 5. We encourage all interested students to read through the Expectations of Innovators and FAQs to learn more about the application process, selection criteria, perks, and commitments of an Innovator.
Download the application to get started. Questions? Reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Have a question about the Baker Innovation Grant? Current Innovators and Victoria Canavor, Director of the Baker Center, will host office hours throughout October for students to have their application questions answered and ideas reviewed. All Innovator’s office hours will be held in the Baker Living Room from 12-1pm. Students can sign up for office hours with Victoria through this link.
