The Kitchen Table: Getting Things Done

On November 15, we held a Kitchen Table dinner with Tara McGuinness & Natalie Quillian.

As two former White House officials, Tara and Natalie joined for dinner and a conversation around policy implementation and what it takes to enact change.

About Tara: Tara is a senior fellow and a senior advisor to New America's National Network and Public Interest Technology programs. Her work lies at the intersection of public policy creation and implementation and citizen and community voices. McGuinness joined New America after leaving the Obama administration where she oversaw the federal teams working alongside city, non-profit, and philanthropic leaders in Detroit, Baltimore, and Flint, and many other communities, during the Obama administration.

About Natalie: Natalie is currently a Principal at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG). Most recently, Natalie served as Deputy Assistant to the President and Advisor to the White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough in the Obama Administration and previously as Senior Advisor to the Deputy National Security Advisor in the National Security Council.

Courtney Powers (MBA '20), who attended the dinner, penned a reflection of the dinner found here.
